Career and Technical Education and Adult General Education Standards and Industry-Driven Benchmarks
PURPOSE:
To adopt the secondary and postsecondary career education programs prescribed in Sections 1004.92 and 1011.80, Florida Statutes, and listed as follows: “Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources,” “Architecture & Construction,” “Arts, A/V Technology & Communication,” “Business, Management & Administration,” “Education & Training,” “Energy,” “Finance,” “Government & Public Administration,” “Health Science,” “Hospitality & Tourism,” “Human Services,” “Information Technology,” “Law, Public Safety & Security,” “Manufacturing,” “Marketing, Sales & Service,” “Engineering and Technology Education,” “Transportation, Distribution & Logistics,” and “Additional CTE Programs/Courses.” In addition, the rule will adopt the “Adult General Education Standards and Curriculum Frameworks 2026-2027” required in statute.
SUMMARY:
This rule updates the Career and Technical Education and Adult General Education Curriculum Frameworks.
