NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 02, 2011, the South Florida Water Management District, received a petition for Variance (Application 110902-1) from Okeechobee Utility Authority (OUA), 100 S.W. 5th Avenue, Okeechobee, FL 34974. The OUA is the public supplier of potable water to Okeechobee County. The petition seeks relief from Section 3.2.1(G)(4) of the Basis of Review for Water Use Permit Applications Within the South Florida Water Management District – March 18, 2010, which is incorporated by reference in Rule 40E-2.091, F.A.C., pertaining to restricted allocation areas, specifically incompatible use type.
