GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Nearly 3 million Florida residents are deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened or deaf-blind, making people with hearing loss the largest disability group in the State of Florida. Florida has the second largest population of people who are deaf or hard of hearing in the nation.
The subject of the meeting will be the format and content of a PSA urging Floridians to seek the advice of a hearing healthcare professional.
