The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, January 17, 2012, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The FDOT is hosting a public information meeting for the widening of FPID 239203-4-52-01, State Road (SR) 50 Colonial Drive in Orange County from Dean Road to Old Cheney Highway. The purpose of this meeting is to afford the public the opportunity to view the design plans for the widening from four to six lanes and express their views concerning the proposed improvements. The meeting will be a public meeting format. There will be a formal presentation given of the proposed improvements along with display boards to present the final design. Participants are welcome to attend anytime between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Department staff will be available to discuss the project, receive public input and to answer your questions. The improvements are part of an overall plan to enhance mobility within SR 50 corridor. The project improvements will widen SR 50 from a four-lane rural roadway to a modern six-lane urban facility. The design includes sidewalks and bike lanes for the length of the project.
