PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Commission proposes to substantially rewrite Chapter 61K1-1, F.A.C., to clarify existing rule language. To accomplish this task it is necessary to implement a new rule Chapter 61K1-3, F.A.C. This section will address professional boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts licensure requirements, health and safety equipment, and official’s duties and responsibilities.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The licensing and regulation of Professional boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts.
