NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from Robert J. Koning, filed on January 24, 2012. The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Sections 468.831, 468.8311(2), (3), (4), Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.
The Petitioner seeks the Board’s interpretation of Sections 468.831, 468.8311(2), (3), (4), Florida Statutes, and whether home inspection services are within the scope of licensure of a Certified Division 1 Contractor when performing such services provided they are not representing themselves as a person who specializes as a home inspector.
