NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 27, 2012, the Department of Health, received a petition for Emergency Variance from paragraph 64E-16.007(6)(e), Florida Administrative Code, from Robert Ulery. This rule prescribes credentialing requirements for persons instructing body piercing courses. The Petitioner requests a variance from these rules to allow the Petitioner to provide formal training, which includes infection control as part of the curriculum, to body piercers and operators.
