The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety hereby gives notice:
On October 4, 2012, the Department issued a Final Order that was in response to a Petition for Variance from Corporate Plaza, filed September 19, 2012, and advertised on October 1, 2012 in Vol. 38, No. 40, of the Florida Administrative Register. No comments were received in response to the petition. The Final Order on the Petition for Variance denies the Petitioner a variance from Chapter 399.035 Florida Statute that requires a handrail inside the cab because this section does not authorize agencies to grant variances or waivers to statues (VW2012-309).
