PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The Board proposes the rule amendment to modify the rule to be consistent with the recent changes to Section 456.031(a), Florida Statutes increasing the hours of education regarding domestic violence from one to two hours.

The following courses are approved by the Board:
(1) (a) through (b) No change.
(2) For the domestic violence education required by Section 456.031, F.S., courses which meet one of the requirements of subsection 64B4-6.002(1), F.A.C., contain the course content set forth in Section 456.031(1)(a), F.S., and provide two one hours of education regarding domestic violence.
