NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 03, 2006 South Florida Water Management District (District), received a petition for Collier County Transportation Department, Application Number 06-0116-6, for issuance of a Right of Way Occupancy Permit for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the County Road 951 (C.R. 951) Canal, Collier County, to allow the proposed widening of the existing pile-supported Tree Farm Road bridge crossing County Road 951 Canal, Sections 26 & 35, Township 48 South, Range 26 East, and due to the characteristics of the existing bridge, the widened portions will not meet the District’s vertical clearance requirement of 2 feet above the design water surface elevation. The petition seeks relief from paragraph 40E-6.221(2)(j), Florida Administrative Code, which governs the minimum vertical clearance requirement of pile-supported crossings within Works or Lands of the District.
