PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of revisions to Chapter Rule 6J-1 is to reduce the number of regularly scheduled meetings of the Institute’s Board of Directors from 4 per year to 3 per year and to update the rules to be consistent with current Institute operations.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The Board of Directors of the Florida Institute of Phosphate Research has decided to hold 3 regularly scheduled Board meetings each year instead of 4 in order to assure that funding of research projects is as closely aligned as possible to the Institute’s budget and needs.
Other changes in the rules are proposed so that the rules accurately reflect the current mode of operations of the Institute.
