NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 28, 2006 the Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Variance from Rule 2.7.4, A.S.M.E. 17.1, 1996 edition with 1997 Addenda, as adopted by Chapter 3001.2, 2004 Florida Building Code, requiring 82 inches clearance in the machine room. The petition was received from Lee Rigby of Vertical Assessments, for the following location: Grand Phoenician Dunes VI in Naples, Florida (Petition VW 2006-175).

The Bureau of Elevator Safety will accept comments concerning the Petition for 14 days from the date of publication of this notice. To be considered, comments must be received on or before 5:00 p.m.
