On April 11, 2008, Ana M. Viamonte Ros, M.D., M.P.H., State Surgeon General of the Department of Health, issued an Order of Emergency Suspension with the regard to the license of Dana Ann Lege, R.N. license number RN 9202526. This Emergency Suspension Order was predicated upon the Secretary’s findings of an immediate and serious danger to the public health, safety and welfare pursuant to Sections 456.073(8) and 120.60(6), Florida Statutes. The Secretary etermined that this summary procedure was fair under the circumstances, in that there was no other method available to adequately protect the public.
