NOTICE OF CORRECTION –The Office of Financial Regulation announces a correction to the Notice of Filings that was originally published on September 5, 2008.  The Notice of Filings refers to the receipt of a written withdrawal of an application to acquire control regarding the proposed acquisition of control of Freedom Bank, Bradenton, Florida, by proposed purchaser, Community Bank Investors of America, L.P. (Laurence C. Fentriss and Timothy A. Anonick), Richmond, Virginia.  The Notice of Filings also refers to the receipt of a written withdrawal of an application to merge constituent institutions USAmeriBank, Largo, Florida, and Liberty Bank, Clearwater, Florida. The Notice of Filings should have actually noticed the receipt of both the application to acquire control and the application to merge by the Office of Financial Regulation.  Neither of the applications has been withdrawn. Pursuant to provisions specified in Chapter 69U-105, Florida Administrative Code, the time period for filing a petition for public hearing regarding the applications must be received by Clerk within twenty-one (21) days of publication of this notice (by 5:00 p.m., October 24, 2008).  The corrected notice is published in Section XII of this issue.
