62-304.800: Caloosahatchee River Basin TMDLS.
The Department of Environmental Protection announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: To present and give notice of a public workshop and public comment period on a draft total maximum daily load (TMDL) for nutrients for the Caloosahatchee Estuary in the Tidal Caloosahatchee River Basin. The public workshop is being held pursuant to Section 403.067(6)(c), Florida Statutes, which requires the Department to hold at least one public workshop in the vicinity of the waterbody or waterbody segment for which a TMDL is being developed. The TMDL calculations and allocations for each waterbody or waterbody segment will be adopted in Rule 62-304.800, F.A.C. The draft TMDL document will be placed on the Department’s TMDL website (http://www.dep.state.fl.us/water/tmdl) by February 13, 2009, and the Department will accept written comments on the draft TMDL through March 16, 2009, or for 30 days after it is posted, whichever date is later.
