On April 21, 2009, Ana M. Viamonte Ros, M.D., M.P.H., State Surgeon General, issued an Amended Order of Emergency Restriction Order with regard to the license of Cynthia Marzouka-Losito, D.P.M. license number PO 2792. This Emergency Restriction Order was predicated upon the State Surgeon General’s findings of an immediate and serious danger to the public health, safety and welfare pursuant to Sections 456.073(8) and 120.60(6), F.S. The State Surgeon General determined that this summary procedure was fair under the circumstances, in that there was no other method available to adequately protect the public.
