61C-5.001: Standards Adopted; Exclusions; and Conflicts

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 05, 2009, the Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for a variance from A.S.M.E. A18.1, which limits wheelchair lifts to travel of 14 feet. The petition is to allow a lift traveling 15 feet, 9 inches. The petition was received from Gloria Higham on behalf of Highland Properties, in St. Petersburg, FL (VW 2009-129).
