PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To update requirements for licensure by endorsement.
SUMMARY: The Board proposes to update requirements for licensure by endorsement.
SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS: No Statement of Estimated Regulatory Cost was prepared. The Board determined the proposed rule will not have an impact on small business.
Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of this notice.

61G15-20.0015 Application for Licensure by Endorsement.
(1) through (4) No change.
(5) The Board shall deem that an applicant for licensure by endorsement who has an engineering degree that is not EAC/ABET accredited from a foreign institution has demonstrated substantial equivalency to an EAC/ABET accredited engineering program, as required by Rule 61G15-20.007, F.A.C., when such applicant has held a valid professional engineer’s license in another state for 15 years and has had 20 years of continuous professional-level engineering experience.
