PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this rule
development is to repeal a Rule provision which, pursuant to Department of
Children and Family Services v. I.B. and D.B., 891 So.2d 1168 (1st DCA 2005),
is already invalid.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: This rule draft will
delete the prohibition against adoptive applicants appealing the departments
decision regarding the selection of an adoptive home for a particular child.
