Background Screening Procedures (FDJJ 1800P) – Technical changes were made to these procedures and four forms, part of the Background Screening Policy which is designed to promote the integrity of the Department of Juvenile Justice and ensures the proper care, safety, and protection of youth in the Department’s care and custody by requiring background screening to be conducted of all persons having access to youth served by the Department.
These procedures are posted for a single 20 working day review and comment period, with the closure date of April 22, 2010, for submission of comments. Responses to comments received will be posted on the above website.
