QUALIFICATION: All Bidders must be qualified at the time of bid opening in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, Article B-2.

DATE AND TIME: June 11, 2010, until 2:00 p.m. (Local Time)

PLACE: Florida Solar Energy Center, Attention: Jim Roland, 1679 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, FL 32922, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract award will be made subject to the availability of funds.

PROPOSAL: Bids must be submitted in full and in accordance with the requirements of the drawings and Project Manual, which may be obtained or examined at: Florida Solar Energy Center, 1679 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, FL 32922. Contact Jim Roland at (321)638-1500.

PRE-SOLICITATION/PRE-BID MEETING: The Bidder is encouraged to attend the pre-solicitation/pre-bid meeting. Minority Business Enterprise firms are invited to attend to become familiar with the project specifications and to become acquainted with contractors interested in bidding the project. PUBLIC ENTITY CRIMES: As required by Section 287.133, Florida Statutes, a contractor may not submit a bid for this project if it is on the convicted vendor list for a public entity crime committed within the past 36 months. The successful contractor must warrant that it will neither utilize the services of, nor contract with, any supplier, subcontractor, or consultant in excess of $15,000.00 in connection with this project for a period of 36 months from the date of their being placed on the convicted vendor list.
