NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 20, 2010, the Department of Environmental Protection, received a petition for a variance from the provisions of paragraph 62-701.630(6)(d), F.A.C., which requires submittal of a financial test and supporting documentation to demonstrate financial assurance for landfill closure within 180 days of the close of the fiscal year. Miami-Dade County is seeking a variance to extend this deadline until 364 days from the close of the fiscal year.
