NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 22, 2010, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for / from Mark Milone on behalf of Boca Corporate Center, Boca Raton, FL. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Section 3.11.3, 2.7.4 and 3.11.1, as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2 Florida Building Code adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code, requiring Fire Fighter Service Phase I & II, restricted door openings and two-way communication. Petitioner states that the owners will be doing a major elevator modification next year and will be able to make all the needed upgrades at that time.
