NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 26, 2010, the Department of Community Affairs, Florida Communities Trust has issued an order.
Petitioner, City of Crystal River, filed a Petition for Waiver seeking to waive subsection 9K-7.003(8), F.A.C., which prohibits Florida Forever funds from being utilized as a portion of the applicant’s match funding. Petitioner stated that failure to waive this prohibition would create substantial hardship on Petitioner’s ability to acquire this environmentally sensitive property. On April 5, 2010, the Petition was heard by the FCT Governing Board and upon hearing the evidence presented, the waiver was granted.
