NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 11, 2010, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for an emergency temporary variance from Seminole Isle Condominium Association in Seminole. Petitioner seeks a waiver/variance of the requirements of Rule 8.6.7.4, ASME A17.1, as adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code, that requires the pits to be kept free of water. Petitioner states that a contract has been signed to seal the pits but time is needed to schedule the work so as to not strand the elderly residents without verticla transportation.
