PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose and effect of the amendments to Rule 5J-12.002, F.A.C., are to adopt by reference changes to DACS Form-10900, Motor Vehicle Repair Registration Package, Rev. 08/10.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Subsection 5J-12.002(1), F.A.C., establishes the official filing form for anyone who wants to operate a motor vehicle repair shop in Florida.

5J-12.002 Registration.
(1) Any person who intends to operate a motor vehicle repair shop shall, prior to offering motor vehicle repair services, before engaging in such activities, apply for and obtain a registration certificate from the Department using form DACS Form 10900, Motor Vehicle Repair Registration Package, Rev. 08/10, Application, Motor Vehicle Repair Act, effective 1-18-95, revised 9-13-01, and 5-3-03, hereby incorporated by reference.
