The Florida Communities Trust (FCT) announces a pre-application technical assistance workshop and webinar for the Parks and Open Space Florida Forever program to which all interested persons are invited. No fee is required to attend the workshop or the webinar. Registration information is available online at: www.floridacommunitiestrust.org. The webinar will be divided into two sessions. The first will provide general information about the FCT program as well as filling out the first pages of Application Form FCT-5. The second session will cover the evaluation criteria and the exhibits.
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of these workshops is to provide information and technical assistance to eligible applicants to assist in the preparation of applications for awards for land acquisitions under the Florida Communities Trust’s Parks and Open Space Florida Forever Program.
ACTION TO BE TAKEN: Information will be presented to assist interested persons in completing the Florida Communities Trust’s Florida Forever application form (FCT-5) and in understanding the review, evaluation, and acquisition procedures.
The Agenda for the workshops will be as follows:
1. Call to order.
2. Explanation by representatives of the Trust as to the purpose of the Florida Communities Trust Parks and Open Space Florida’s Forever Program and the application procedure.
3. Public questions.
4. Adjournment.
