PETITION TO DISSOLVE THE CIRCLE SQUARE WOODS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT

On August 12, 2010, the Florida Land and Water Adjudicatory Commission (“FLWAC” or “Commission”) received a petition to dissolve the Circle Square Woods Community Development District (“District”). The petition was amended on October 12, 2010, and supplemented with additional information in response to a request of the Commission. The Commission will follow the requirements of Chapter 42-1, F.A.C., and Chapter 190, F.S., as amended, in ruling on this amended petition.

SUMMARY OF CONTENTS OF AMENDED PETITION: The amended petition, filed by the Board of Supervisors of the Circle Square Woods Community Development District, requests the dissolution of the District. On May 18, 2010, the Board of Supervisors of the District adopted a resolution authorizing the filing of a petition with the Commission for dissolution of the District. The District is located in Marion County, Florida, and consists of approximately 718.75 acres. The petition and resolution provides that the District has no outstanding financial obligations and no operating or maintenance responsibilities. Further, the petition and resolution provides that there are no current services provided by the District as, pursuant to an interlocal agreement between the District and the Bay Laurel Center Community Development District (“BLCCDD”), utility services have been assigned and transferred to the BLCCDD.

SUMMARY OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS: The Petitioner indicates that in accordance with Section 120.541, F.S., there are no required estimated regulatory costs that are associated with the dissolution of the District.
