The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: May 3, 2011, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
PLACE: Anna Maria Community Center, 407 Magnolia Avenue, Anna Maria, Florida
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation will conduct a public information meeting to provide information on the upcoming boardwalk project at Bayfront Park & The City Pier in Manatee County, Florida. Improvements to be made as part of this project include the construction of a new boardwalk and plaza shelters, parking reconfiguration, installation of lighting, irrigation, trash enclosures, bike racks, signage, and concrete pads for magazine racks, addition of benches, and landscaping. This public information meeting will be an open house format with no formal presentation. Project staff will be available to answer questions regarding project related information.
