NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by All Children’s Hospital, Petition for Declaratory Statement Case No.: 113821-10-FM on December 02, 2010. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:
The Declaratory Statement concludes that the subject property is subject to the Boiler Code because it is located on the hospital campus, and serves the hospital. The definitions of “public assembly locations” and “other locations open to the general public,” make clear that areas surrounding the hospital where the public is allowed or invited to gather are included.
