Policies and Procedures Posted for Review and Comment

The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice has posted several revised policies and procedures for review and comment.

The Utilization of Information Technology Access Permissions and Resources Policy (FDJJ – 1235), Information Resource Security Standards and Guidelines Policy and DJJ Information Resource Security Handbook (FDJJ 1205.30) and Network User Accounts Procedures (FDJJ – 1205.50P) are posted at http://www.djj.state.fl.us/policies_procedures/policyreview.html.

The revised policies and procedures address information resource security issues within the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) and its impact on the Department’s day to day operations. There is no fiscal impact for Department or applicable service providers.

The revised policies and procedures are being posted for a single 20 working day review and comment period. The closure date for submission of comments is June 6, 2011. Comments should be sent to the person identified on the above Website utilizing the Matrix of Comments. Responses to comments received will be posted during the review period to the extent possible, but no later than 10 working days after the end of the review period on the above Website.
