PURPOSE AND EFFECT: PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The department proposes to amend the rules to conform them to changes to sections 381.008, 381.0086, and 381.0087, Florida Statutes. The effect of the changes will be to eliminate conflicts between the rules and the underlying statutes, and to have a rule chapter that is more easily understood by the regulated industry and the general public.
SUMMARY: The proposed rule amendments will address definitions, inspections, forms, variances, personal hygiene facilities, food service facilities, beds and bedding, citations, animal health and safety and other matters to protect the health and safety of migrant and seasonal farm workers.
SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS: No Statement of Estimated Regulatory Cost was prepared.
Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of this notice.
