PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To update the rule by removing out of date and inaccurate information about the renewal period.
SUMMARY: The rule is being amended to delete the biennial renewal period language, which need not be included in this rule.
SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS: No Statement of Estimated Regulatory Cost was prepared.
Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of this notice.

THE FULL TEXT OF THE PROPOSED RULE IS:
64B21-503.002 Renewal of an Active License.
The Department of Health shall renew an active license upon receipt of the renewal card, the biennial licensure fee as established in Rule 64B21-501.003, F.A.C., and demonstration to the Department that the licensee has satisfactorily completed continuing education requirements as defined in Rule 64B21-502.004, F.A.C., and maintained documentation of same pursuant to Rule 64B21-502.001, F.A.C.
Each biennial renewal period shall begin on February 1, of odd numbered years.
