5C-27.001

Dogs or Cats - Intrastate Transfer of Ownership

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of this rule development is to develop a form for the Official Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (OCVI) required by Section 828.29, Florida Statutes, which is required to be provided by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and related requirements with respect to the use of the OCVI.

SUBJECT:

State law provides the requirements for an OCVI in connection with dogs and cats transported or offered for sale in Florida.
