Delegation of Authority

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule amendment will incorporate the Well Construction Permitting Agreement between the Southwest Florida Water Management District and the Marion County Health Department by reference into Rule 40D-1.002, F.A.C. The Agreement accomplishes delegation by the District of its well construction regulation program to the Marion County Health Department.

SUBJECT:

Delegation of the District’s well construction permitting program to the Marion County Health Department, the scope of the delegated authority and the conditions and standards under which the Marion County Health Department must operate the program.
