Overview



	The Department of Transportation, District Five announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, August 18, 2011, 5:30 p.m. – Open House; 6:30 p.m. – Presentation

PLACE:	Ocklawaha Bridge Baptist Church, 14100 North East Highway 40, Silver Springs, Florida 34488

Subject:	This public hearing is being held to afford interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic, and environmental effects of Financial Project ID Numbers: 410674-1-22-01, 410675-1-22-01 and 410676-1-22-01, otherwise known as the State Road 40 Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study in Marion, Lake and Volusia Counties, Florida. The project involves improving State Road 40 to a four-lane divided roadway from approximately one mile west of State Road 326 to S.E. 183rd Avenue Road, a total distance of approximately 13 miles. The proposed improvements also include the addition of a grass median that will result in changes to access at various locations along the 13 mile corridor. This project is being developed in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
