PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule amendment will be to repeal rules identified during the comprehensive rule review required by Executive Order 11-01 as duplicative, unnecessarily burdensome, or no longer necessary.

SUMMARY:

These rules were promulgated and applied to the Correctional Privatization Commission (CPC) that was abolished on July 1, 2005. All duties and responsibilities of the CPC were transferred to the Department of Management Services effective July 1, 2004; therefore, these rules no longer apply.
