Overview



	The State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Recreation and Parks, Office of Greenways and Trails announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	October 5, 2011, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon; 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Polk City Government Center, 123 Broadway Boulevard, S.E., Polk City, Florida 33868

Subject:	These meetings are to receive and review public comments on the proposed draft update to the General James A. Van Fleet State Trail management plan. The first meeting will provide an opportunity for public comment on the proposed draft update to the management plan. Comments may be presented verbally or in writing at the meeting. Written comments may also be submitted, but must be received 24 hours prior to the meeting. Written comments submitted prior to the meeting should be sent to: Marsha Connell, Office of Greenways and Trails, Division of Recreation and Parks, State of Florida, Department of Environmental Protection, 3900 Commonwealth Boulevard, MS #795, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-3000 or by email: Marsha.Connell@dep.state.fl.us. During the second meeting, the Management Plan Advisory Group will review public comments received and provide recommendations regarding items for inclusion in the management plan.
