RULE:

68A-26.002

Regulations Relating to the Taking of Amphibians

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule amendment is to clarify rule language related to the taking of frogs with firearms during daylight hours only. The effect of the proposed rule amendment will be to enable the agency to better manage fish and wildlife resources.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule amendment would clarify that frogs may be taken year round with a firearm, but only during daylight hours.
