Overview



	The State Board of Administration, Investment Advisory Council (IAC) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	One or more days between the period Monday, August 13, 2012 and Friday, August 31, 2012 (excluding weekends). Unless otherwise provided on the SBA’s website, all meetings shall begin at 9:00 a.m. (EST) and continue until the meeting is concluded. The actual meeting dates and times will be posted on the SBA’s website at http://www.sbafla.com at least 7 days prior to the meeting.

PLACE:	The Hermitage Centre, Conference Room 116, 1801 Hermitage Boulevard, Tallahassee, Florida 32308

Subject:	Special meeting(s) of the IAC to discuss responses to a Request for Quote for a consultant to perform a compensation study the IAC is undertaking to ensure interests are aligned and human capital risk issues are prudently addressed, and to select or approve the selection of one or more consultants. In addition, a discussion of any other matters within the purview of the IAC may be addressed. The IAC is a nine-member advisory council, which reviews the investments made by the staff of the State Board of Administration and makes recommendations to the board regarding investment policy, strategy, and procedures. The IAC operates under Section 215.444, Florida Statutes.
