RULE:

6A-1.099822

School Improvement Rating for Alternative Schools.

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of this rule amendment is to incorporate changes on the process of crediting back assessment results from students at alternative schools to their home schools. In addition, technical edits need to be made to align the calculation of school improvement ratings more closely with the school grades calculation.

SUMMARY:

This rule amendment aligns the rule language to statutory language and how students’ achievement scores and learning gains will be included in their home school’s grade.
