RULE:

64B8-13.005

Continuing Education for Biennial Renewal

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule amendment is intended to clarify the requirements for continuing education.

SUMMARY:

The proposed rule amendment permits licensees who obtain the required domestic violence, end of life and palliative health care, HIV/AIDS, or medical errors course for initial licensure, reactivation or reinstatement within 2 years preceding licensure renewal to use the same continuing education to meet the requirements for licensure renewal.
