Overview



	The Department of Children & Families Review of Child Deaths announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Wednesday, October 24, 2012, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon

PLACE:	Embassy Suites- USF Campus, 3705 Spectrum Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33612

Subject:	The Florida Department of Children and Families is convening a multidisciplinary team of child welfare professionals to review child deaths reported to the Abuse Hotline during 2011. The investigations of the deaths were not determined to have occurred as a result of verified findings of abuse or neglect. The result will be to discuss recommendations pertaining to preventable child deaths.
