Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District 2 announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	April 2, 2013, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Fairfield Inn & Suites, 4888 Lenoir Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32216

Subject:	This workshop is being held to afford interested persons the opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of Financial Project ID: 428706-1, otherwise known as US 1 (Philips Highway) from Bowden Road to South of John Street, in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. The proposed improvements will consist of milling and resurfacing the existing roadway, as well as, the installation of a continuous bike lane throughout the project limits. Removal of on-street parking will be necessary to accommodate the bike lane addition. Also, a five foot sidewalk will be installed on both sides of the roadway throughout the project where sidewalks do not currently exist. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability or family status.
