PURPOSE:

With the passage of Ch. 2013-36, LOF, the Commission needed to create a form to be used by a trustee when certifying a public officer's qualified blind trust pursuant to Section 112.31425, F.S.  The Commission also needed to revise the voting conflict forms--Forms 8A and 8B--to include changes in the law affecting state and local officers.

SUBJECT:

The proposed forms include the certification form that a trustee will file with the Commission when certifying that a public officer's blind trust complies with Section 112.31425, F.S., as well as the voting conflict form used by state and local officials when voting.
