RULE:

69I-40.103

Restriction of Expenditures (Repealed)

PURPOSE:

The rule prohibits expenditure of state funds in specified categories.  The rule is being repealed.

SUMMARY:

This rule is being repealed to conform to results of recent litigation.  The rule being repealed prohibits state expenditures for certain categories of goods and services, specifically congratulatory telegrams, flowers, telegraphic condolences, plaques for outstanding service, entertainment for visiting dignitaries, refreshments, and decorative items.
