Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation, District Three announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	August 22, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. CDT

PLACE:	Glenwood Community Center, 722 East 9th Court, Panama City

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend a public information meeting concerning proposed improvements to State Road (S.R.) 30A (U.S. 98) and S.R. 77 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard) in Bay County. Proposed improvements to S.R. 30A (U.S. 98) from west of Jenks Avenue to S.R. 389 (East Avenue) include resurfacing the existing roadway, minor intersection improvements, drainage improvements, sidewalk and pedestrian signals, and other minor safety upgrades. U.S. 98 construction is scheduled to begin summer 2015. Proposed improvements to S.R. 77 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard) from S.R. 30 (U.S. 98B) to S.R. 75 (U.S. 231) include resurfacing with minor drainage improvements, new signs, pavement markings, and signalization. All proposed construction will take place within FDOT right-of-way. S.R. 77 construction is scheduled to begin fall 2014.
