PURPOSE:

The overall purpose of the proposed rule change is to reduce the regulatory burden for applicants applying for permits for the consumptive use of water. The effect of this rule change will be to reduce the number of copies of the application and supporting data needed to be submitted by the applicant to only one rather than two. This will result in a net savings to the applicant and the District and meet the requirements of 373.250, Florida Statutes.

SUMMARY:

This rule development will amend application forms for non-potable uses to require information regarding the availability and feasibility of utilizing reclaimed water.
