40B-21.275

Implementing a Water Shortage Declaration

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule is to implement changes to rule requirements as per Florida House Bill 999 approved this past legislative session. This bill amended subsection (6) of section 373.246, Florida Statutes to allow notification of permittees by electronic mail in the event of a declared water shortage or emergency.

SUMMARY:

This proposed rule regards electronic notification of permittees within the areas of the District declared to be in a water shortage
