PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed amendments are to repeal rules identified during the Department's comprehensive rule review as duplicative of statute or no longer necessary.

SUMMARY:

Rule 64B-1.001 addresses application deadlines and the rescheduling of examinations by applicants. 
Rule 64B-1.002 addresses the notification of applicants by the Department regarding examination date, time and location. Rule 64B-1.003 provides procedures for the administration of exams. Rule 64B-1.004 addresses the conduct of exam administrators, proctors and applicants. Rule 64B-1.006 provides procedures for the administration of practical or clinical examinations. Rule 64B-1.007 outlines the criteria by which examiners are selected.
Rule 64B-1.009 addresses the pre-hearing review pursuant to Rule 28-106.209, F.A.C. Rule 64B-1.012 provides guidelines for sharing department developed examinations and items with other state licensing authorities.
